About the Western Region of the Nation’s Network

Western Region

The Western Region of the nation’s network includes dental practitioners from private practice, community health, and large group practice settings from 11 western states, plus American Samoa, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands.

Network Training Requirements

Human Subjects Protection Training »
The human subjects protection training is required for practitioners who are involved in research within the National Dental Practice Based Research Network.
Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI) »
Managing financial conflicts of interest is important for assuring the public that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Dental Practice-Based Research Network are conducting research without bias and in accordance with the highest scientific and ethical standards.
